Codes we build to.

A new firm earns trust by how it works, not how long it has worked. This page sets out the codes we specify against, what each one governs, and what that means for your project in practice.

Design & materials.

The codes that govern what gets drawn, what gets poured, and how we prove the material that arrived is the material that was specified.

ACI 318

American Concrete Institute · Building code for structural concrete. Governs reinforced-concrete design and detailing: cover, development lengths, and seismic detailing. In practice: our RCC drawings and bar-bending schedules follow ACI detailing, and we don't pour against drawings that don't.

BS 8110

British Standard · Structural use of concrete. The legacy code most Pakistani consultants still reference. We work fluently in both ACI and BS so the consultant's preference, not ours, sets the language of the project.

ASTM

American Society for Testing & Materials. Material specs and test methods: rebar (A615), cement (C150), aggregates (C33). In practice: every structural material delivery carries a certificate referencing its ASTM spec, filed per order.

AISC

American Institute of Steel Construction. Structural steel fabrication and erection: welds, bolting, and tolerances for steel-framed sheds, mezzanines, and canopies.

PSQCA

Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority. National conformity marks for cement, steel, and manufactured materials. In practice: we buy from PSQCA-licensed producers and can arrange third-party lab verification on request.

Electrical, regulatory & quality.

The codes that govern the systems inside the structure, the approvals around it, and the way the whole firm runs its paperwork.

IEC / NEC

International Electrotechnical Commission / National Electrical Code. Electrical installation and safety: conductor sizing, earthing, and protection co-ordination. In practice: insulation-resistance and earth tests on every installation, documented before energising.

PEC

Pakistan Engineering Council. Constructor licensing, bylaws, and conduct. We are PEC-registered and operate within our licensed category, bidding only work we are qualified to carry.

SBCA

Sindh Building Control Authority. Local building approvals and compliance in Karachi and Sindh. In practice: we build to approved drawings and flag deviations to the client before they become violations.

ISO 9001

Quality management principles. Documented procedures, traceable records, and corrective action. We run ISO 9001 principles as a working discipline today; formal certification is on our roadmap as the firm grows. We will never print a certificate we don't hold.
